The Entity: True Story of Doris Bither

                  Hey guys! So I was talking with my mom about what to do for this post, because I was having a hard time coming up with a really good topic, but she told me about an incident they call "The Entity." It is a true story of a lady named Doris Bither, and it happened in Culver City, California. This is one of the biggest cases in paranormal history.
                   To give you a little bit of background information,  Doris Bither was a small women, in her 30's at the time, and lived in a petite house with her 4 children, 1 daughter and 3 sons. According to the article, Doris Bither was abused by her parents growing up, and by several men in different relationships. It is said that there was obvious tension between the 3 sons, and herself.
                   Now, I do believe this story that I am about to share with you to be true, because of my mom. She actually had the chance to meet Dr. Taff and Gaynor, which are the investigators that worked on this case, when she was a sophomore in high school, just like me. The investigators came to her school for her psych class, and she got to see the polaroids that were taken at the house during the investigation. She says she will never forget it all, because it was such a crazy experience. My mom said that the investigators would take a polaroid every time Doris Bither felt a presence. My mom said that the pictures showed a blur in front of Bither where she said she felt the presence, but where it wasn't, everything else was clear as could be. She said it is a true story, so of course I take her word for it, and we read the article together, and she told me that everything that the article stated, was exactly what the investigators told her class when they visited.
                 Bither claims that spirits would actually physically attack her in her house. Things would fly across the rooms, like pans and such. Doris says that she would bump into these "ghosts" or "spirits," and that they would abuse her. Bither says she was raped by these spirits, which is one of the interesting aspects of this case, because how could that be proven? Some parts of the story make me feel a bit skeptical about the truth of the case, and whether I truly believe what is being claimed or not, but none the less I do feel it is on the true side.
                 Doris Bither reports that there were 3 spirits in the house. A larger man, and 2 smaller ones. She also says that the ghost were asian men. Her children could see the ghosts too. Bither said that the 2 small ones would hold her down, while she was abused by the larger one. Bither says that her eldest son tried to intervene when his mom was being abused, and the spirit flung him against the wall.
               Apparently, Bither was in a book store when she overheard Dr. Barry Taff and his associate Kerry Gaynor talking about the paranormal, and she approached them, and told her about her issue. They decided to do the investigation, and set up high speed cameras and equipment in Bither's bedroom. They waited and watched for 2 and a half months. The activity seemed to decrease as time went on, and was less aggressive, but things like green mist from the corner of the room would appear, and an arch of light above Doris when she was sitting on her bed. Most of the incidents that happened in the house could not be caught on tape, for an unknown reason, they just wouldn't show up.  They saw a torso of a muscular man, but no face. So, what the investigators gathered was that it was definitely a male entity. I guess no one can say what is true about this case for sure, but I know that I feel this is a true story.

Do Aliens Really Exist?

                Well hello everyone! I decided to share my thoughts on Aliens tonight. I read up on an article, that made me really think. For those of you that are wondering, yes I do believe that there is some other type of life form out there. I mean really, think about it. We are one small planet, in one solar system, inside one universe. There are millions of other universes I believe, so how is it that out of all of them, we are the only life form that exists? Maybe I am wrong, but I just feel that it can't be true that we are alone.
               There have been so many claims of UFO sightings, or pictures, but you know what they say, "Don't believe everything you see on the internet." So, how can we know what is true, and what is photoshopped? We can't really know the complete truth, but I guess we can make conclusions based on clues, and things we find from the past.
               There a has always been that suspicion that in Area 51, there are aliens that the government is hiding from us. In 6th grade, my family and I took a trip to the desert, and went quad riding. We rode to a town called "Oatman," and it had signs about aliens all over the place. The whole town was themed alien, because it was near Area 51, which we passed on the way to the town. I remember that there was a gate around the area, and warning signs talking about the consequences if trespassing into Area 51. I won't lie, 6th grade me was a little freaked out, thinking aliens could attack at any moment. I remember coming home from the trip, and going to a friend's house, where I proceeded to tell her all about this so called Alien Area 51, and then we got really into it, and researched all night long.
               Now back to when I said we must look at the past for truth of aliens, I mean that there are ancient cave paintings that depict aliens, an elongated skull that was found, paintings with UFOs in the back, and the Bible of Ezekiel. The article I read, mentioned all of these things, and said that this is all compelling evidence, or humanity has a rich tradition of conspiracy theorist.
              People all over the world claim to have had a UFO sighting, as well as astronauts like Buzz Aldrin. Also, government files from Bill Clinton who claims to have been among them, and them meaning the aliens, but who knows if that is credible information.
              I'm not sure what you think, but I do know that I believe there must be some other life form, other than us. Now, whether the so called "Aliens" are friendly and "come in peace," or not, I do not know.

EVP's???

              Hi guys! I read an article today about EVP's, or Electronic Voice Phenomenons. According to paranormal expert, John D. Mimms, EVP's are the best way to collect noises during an investigation. Mimms talks about the 7 scariest ghost encounters, that he has had.
                   I am not going to share with you each of the stories that Mimms told, but a couple of them. I will link the article below,  and I reccomend reading all 7 of his stories. The first story that stood out to me was #1 on his list. Mimms and his team, went to a house of an old man who had died from lung cancer. He mentioned that the house still smelled like cigarettes... The investigators ask questions, but cannot hear answers, until they go back and listen to the EVP recordings. After asking if the old man wanted them to leave, in an angry, raspy voice someone answered "Yes."
 The daughter of the man was there when they replayed the recording, and identified it as her father's voice.

            The next story of Mimms that stood out to me was #3. At a tuberculosis sanatorium, in a certain hallway, people often experience the sound of a little girl. Apparently, a little girl and her mother died there in the 1940s. When the recording was played back, a little girl's voice is singing, and rising up and down in volume, as if she were moving about the hallway. At the end of the recording, in a low voice, seemed to be far away, you can hear her say, "I'm down in this room," according to Mimms.
            Those stories to me seem pretty legit, and creepy! I don't know about you, but I would like to be able to listen to one of the recordings for myself, just to be able to understand what they hear like, and prove that it is real. I find it interesting that someone would want to have that job of paranormal investigating, just because what if you really do see all of these phenomenons that go on??? As much as I love reading about the paranormal, and researching it, I don't think I would want to do it as a job, because I would be really freaked out to witness it first hand.

The Black Eyed Children

            So today, I found a really creepy article that led me on a search to find out more about a strange phenomena known as the "Black Eyed Children."
                Apparently there are many reports of the same types of events, that all contain the same things. There are children that look outdated, like their clothes and haircuts are not from this time. They have oil black eyes, and no white. Their eyes are completely blacked out. From all the stories I read about these black eyed kids, they are all very similar. In all the sightings of the children, they go to peoples houses, knock on the doors, and ask to be let in. All the people that experienced the children coming to their door, said that they all had a rush of dread that came over them, and they did not let the children in.
              I came across an article that gives an email, that a woman sent into the website to share her story. She made the mistake of letting the kids into her house, and now claims she is dying. She and her husband got a visit from the black eyed children at around 2 in the morning, and they made the mistake of  letting them in. The woman said she didn't want to let them in, but felt an urge to. The kids would not look up from the ground she says, and when asked any questions, their only response was that their parents would be there soon.
             In the email, the woman says that her husband was in the living room with the children, while she went into the kitchen to make the kids hot cocoa, and when she came back, her husband had seen their eyes, and was dizzy with a bloody nose. She also saw the eyes, and was in shock. The children asked to use the restroom, and she led them there. The power later went out, and the kids were in the hallway, and told her that their parents were there. They walked right out of the house to a car, and to tall figures that stared at the house, then they drove away.
           The lady that wrote the email, says it has been a year since that incident, and ever since then, her and her husband have been in the worst condition of their lives. She claims to be dying because of what the children did.
            This story actually gave me chills. I honestly don't know what I would do if children came to my door like that. All I know is that I would not let them in, especially after reading the article. I highly recommend that you go read the article to really get the whole story. The link will be listed below.

The Haunting of Laura- A True Poltergeist Story

                   Today, I read an article about Poltergeist. No, not the movie, although my dad actually was an extra in that. He was a little boy that buys ice cream in the back of one of the scenes.
                    Anyways, poltergeist is a ghost or supernatural being supposedly responsible for physical disturbances such as, loud noises, and objects thrown around. The article that I came across is about a girl named Laura B.
                  Laura's story starts with how when she was young, and her father was an alcoholic.
She tells about how her parents room was in the basement, an she refused to go in there for any reason. She claimed that she felt an eery feeling coming from that feeling, which she blamed on her dad's alcoholism. She goes on to say, that once her parents got divorced, she felt the eery feeling take over her own bedroom upstairs, and it was taking over. Laura says that she needed to sleep with the TV on, but a green image would appear on the screen, and a red light would float across her room. It almost looked like a laser beam. It occurred overnight, she told Steven Wagner, publisher of the article.
              Laura explains how she would see shadows, and images. Her friend experienced the same evil feelings as Laura, when they had a sleepover. There were scratching sounds coming from the inside of the microwave, and her dog was acting strange. Laura remembers feeling stabs of cold air, that was sharp.
             The whole experience has left Laura's faith shaken, and she doesn't know what she believes anymore, but she does know that their is evil in this world. I don't know about you, but I would've moved out of that house so fast!

The Possession of Clara Germana Cele

               Hi every one! Today I have a pretty interesting post for you. I'm pretty sure that anyone reading this has heard of possessions, and exorcisms, and at leasts has an idea of what they are, and if not, well then you're in for a treat.
             As I was researching different possession stories, I came across one about a young girl by the name, Clara Germana Cele. She was a 16 year old, Christian girl at the time, and attended St. Michael's Mission in Natal, South Africa. She was brought up in a very religious environment, and baptized as an infant. The article I found, said that Cele made a pact with satan when she was sixteen years old, in the year 1906, and that is what caused her possession to occur.
            There's many movies about possessions, and I've seen quite a few of them, but after reading what took place during Cele's possession, I was a little freaked out. In the article, The Possession of Clara Germana Cele, it says that "In an account written by a nun, Cele was able to speak languages of which she had no previous knowledge of." It went on to say that "she understood Polish, German, French, and many other languages."
            According to the article, it also says that Cele was able to prove her clairvoyant state by telling secrets of people whom she had no connection with before. She knew their most intimate secrets. Apparently, Cele could not stand the presence of blessed things, and would become filled with astonishing strength, and anger, by throwing nuns across the room, and beating them.
            A nun reported that when the young girl cried, she " had a savage bestiality that astonished those around her." The nun also wrote that, "No animal has ever made such sounds. [...] At times it sounded like a veritable herd of wild beasts orchestrated by satan had formed a hellish choir."
           Clara was said to be able to levitate 5 feet above the ground, which is seen in many famous possession storied and movies. It said that she would come down if sprinkled with holy water. The article, said that the girl would levitate horizontally, and vertically.
          Clara Germana Cele was the subject of an exorcism by Roman Catholic priests by the names, Rev. Mansueti, and Rev. Erasmus. After a forceful, 2 day exorcism, the demon was finally out of Cele's body, and she was healed.
                   That possession gave me chills. I always feel a little bit skeptical when it comes to these types of things though, just because you never really know what is true, and I have so many questions for it that it leads me sometimes to question the stories.
