Ed and Lorraine Warren

So today, I am going to be talking about Ed and Lorraine Warren, they are demonologist, yes that's a real thing. I know this isn't a story about something paranormal, but it all ties into my theme, trust me!
Ed and Lorraine Warren were small town paranormal investigators. In 1952, they founded the New England Research Society for Psychic Research. Police would actually request the Warrens to work on cases. The Warrens have over 4,000 cases in their file.
I am sure that if you're into scary movies, then you've heard of their work, because many recent horror films such as the "Conjuring 1 & 2," "Amityville Horror," and "Annabelle," are based off of true case files that Ed and Lorraine worked on. They dealt with the actual families themselves, and all of the paranormal happenings that they reenact in the films.
Many people believe that the Warrens are a hoax, but many also believe that they have some special connection with the paranormal, and are the reason that the families have been saved. People call them "saviors."
In an interview with Lorraine, she didn't even like talking about some of the cases, as she said they were too horrible, and followed her. She couldn't talk about the "Amityville House," because it scarred her for life. Many believe that Amityville was a hoax, but my mom's friend went to school with Danny Lutz, who was the little boy of the family that lived in the Amityville house, and he has scars across his hand where the window slammed on it, to prove that the house was indeed haunted. Just imagine, that is only one case out of over 4,000! I cannot imagine what the Warren's lives were like, with all of the dangerous things that they've encountered.
That's all for today, hope you enjoyed!

The Tale of Gracie Watson

Hey guys! For today, I have a creepy little story that just so happened to stumbled upon.
Today, I will be sharing with you the story of Little Gracie Watson. In Savannah, Georgia, there is a cemetery called Bonaventure Cemetery. It has become a tourist attraction because of one little girl.
Gracie Watson was born in 1883, and died at the age of 6, two days before Easter in 1889, from pneumonia. When Gracie died, a sculptor by the name of John Walz, moved to Savannah and carved a sculptor of her from a photograph. The sculpture was life sized, and delicately detailed, made out of marble.
According to legends, many say her spirit remains in the cemetery like many others. When people visit her grave site, a popular thing to do is to leave her toys to play with. Many ghost hunters, and visitors say that if her toys are removed, Gracie cries tears of blood. The strange thing about that is that there are no tear stains on her marble "porcelain doll" like face. It has been said that if you are there at the right moment, many have heard the giggles of a little girl, and the sound of her playing by the staircase at the cemetery.
The grave has become so well known, and such a tourist attraction, that an iron wrought fence has been put up around Gracie's grave, to protect the statue.
I ended up watching a YouTube video called "The Haunted Tale of Gracie Winston-Bonaventure Cemetery," where a ghost hunter goes to the grave site, and tried to connect with spirits. She uses a spirit communication devices, and picks up on spirits talking. The video plays the footage back and repeats it, and I heard was the voice of someone saying "Watson" right as the ghost hunter was standing in from of Gracie's grave. If you would like to check it out for yourself, the links I used will be listed down below.
I hope you enjoyed todays post, and I will be updating you with another story on Friday!

Do You Dare to Play with a Ouija Board?

Hey Friends! Today while I was researching, I came across a very interesting article. At first, I was just searching paranormal on Google, but I wanted to get a topic more in depth than just paranormal. So, I looked up Ouija Board hauntings! I clicked on many websites, but none really stood out to me, and I felt as if all the stories weren't real enough, and didn't send the chill up my spine that I was looking for. A lot of ghost stories I feel are just hoax, so sometimes it is hard to find one that seems genuine, and real. For a while, I was clicking links, until I finally got to an article. The article, Ouija: Not a Game, was written by, Dale Kaczmarek, who is apart of the Ghost Research Society.
A lot of people do not believe in paranormal things, such as ghost, but I for one on the other hand, do believe. I've actually had experiences. Just to give you a little background on my ghost experiences I will share a brief story, before I really get into the Ouija topic. One of my best friend's house is haunted. We were sitting in her room one day, in broad daylight, and she had her perfume bottle sitting on her desk. We were watching Netflix on her iPad, and we heard a thump. When we both looked next to her bed, where the desk was located, the perfume slid to the opposite side of the surface. We sat there in silence, freaked out, because what else were two 6th grade girls going to do when no one else was home to help us. Also she claims that clothes have been thrown out of her closet, and onto the floor while she was just sitting there. How's that for a paranormal experience?
Okay, back to the Ouija board business. The author, explains to you what a Ouija board is, and does. So, for those of you that don't exactly know, a Ouija board is just a compressed wooden board, sold at virtually all toy stores, occult supply, and book stores. It has numbers and the alphabet written on it. The boards are used to communicate with the dead, and can be very dangerous if used incorrectly. Kaczmarek says that he does not advise that you mess with one of these demon portals.
Kaczmarek goes on to say, "Most often spirits whom are contacted through the Ouija are those whom reside on the lower astral plane. These spirits are very confused [...] Therefore, many negative and violent conditions are present to those using the board."
Kaczmarek, later gives examples of some horrifying stories from users of Ouija boards. One of the stories I read was titled "Ouija Board Summons Demons," where a family of four used a Ouija board for a fun family night, and ended up meeting what they believe was to be the Devil. The spirit tormented the family, leaving them with cuts and bruises, with the children hospitalized. They were "attacked for what seemed like an hour", the writer says, and "the room became so hot, like an inferno from hell."
I don't know about you, but I would not know what to do with myself after seeing something like that. I would be absolutely terrified. There are several more stories about Ouija board experiences, so feel free to visit the site. I will list all links used for my research below. Also, I will be updating you with another terrifying post on Tuesday!

Why Paranormal???

Well hello every one, it seems that you have stumbled upon my blog. So, for my first post I am going to basically give you a run down of what goes on here, and just explain what this blog is all about.
It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to blog about. I made a list with all of the topics i found interests in, and tried to narrow them down. Eventually, it came down to a fashion vlog, or paranormal blog, and after asking all of my friends in group messages, and at lunch, they all voted for a paranormal blog. I myself was already leaning towards this topic anyway, so it was great. Plus, I figured that there are millions of channels on YouTube that are already about fashion. Also, paranormal blogs aren't something that surface in your everyday life, so I thought why not try something a little out of the ordinary?  I've always loved scary movies, and Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. I love the adrenaline rush I get when I'm scared. I find it so exhilarating. So, with all of that being said, I chose the topic of the paranormal to do my blog on.
Every week, I will be updating you with new thrilling, suspenseful stories about things like ghosts, aliens, Big Foot, hauntings, etc. It should be very interesting. I will talk about ghost sightings, and include pictures of ghosts caught on camera. I hope that the stories I find, and share with you, leave you with chills or and eery feeling. That's all for today, make sure to check back in later this week for a thrilling tale...
