The Tale of Gracie Watson

Hey guys! For today, I have a creepy little story that just so happened to stumbled upon.
Today, I will be sharing with you the story of Little Gracie Watson. In Savannah, Georgia, there is a cemetery called Bonaventure Cemetery. It has become a tourist attraction because of one little girl.
Gracie Watson was born in 1883, and died at the age of 6, two days before Easter in 1889, from pneumonia. When Gracie died, a sculptor by the name of John Walz, moved to Savannah and carved a sculptor of her from a photograph. The sculpture was life sized, and delicately detailed, made out of marble.
According to legends, many say her spirit remains in the cemetery like many others. When people visit her grave site, a popular thing to do is to leave her toys to play with. Many ghost hunters, and visitors say that if her toys are removed, Gracie cries tears of blood. The strange thing about that is that there are no tear stains on her marble "porcelain doll" like face. It has been said that if you are there at the right moment, many have heard the giggles of a little girl, and the sound of her playing by the staircase at the cemetery.
The grave has become so well known, and such a tourist attraction, that an iron wrought fence has been put up around Gracie's grave, to protect the statue.
I ended up watching a YouTube video called "The Haunted Tale of Gracie Winston-Bonaventure Cemetery," where a ghost hunter goes to the grave site, and tried to connect with spirits. She uses a spirit communication devices, and picks up on spirits talking. The video plays the footage back and repeats it, and I heard was the voice of someone saying "Watson" right as the ghost hunter was standing in from of Gracie's grave. If you would like to check it out for yourself, the links I used will be listed down below.
I hope you enjoyed todays post, and I will be updating you with another story on Friday!
